VBS is fast approaching so please register soon. The dates for VBS are August 16th to 20th. This year, we will be exploring where kids join forces with God, led by Pastor Matt Sampson. All within from preschool to grade 5 are welcome to join us.
The cost to register is $20 per child. Please print out this registration form and then submit it to the church with your registration fee.

First T W I G (Tuesday Women's Interest Group) meeting of the season is being planned for Tuesday
September 14th at 1:30 p.m. All women are welcome. Ruth Currie will be our special guest for the day, and will favour us with a presentation on her recent trip to Eastern Europe & Oberammergau.
AN INVITATION TO ALL WOMEN OF ABC to a belated Bridal Shower on Thursday Sept. 16th at 7:30 pm to be held at the church library. Michael Yoshiki, son of Alan & Verlyn, was recently married to Melissa De. Many of you know Michael as he grew up here at ABC . You will want to share this happy occasion and to meet his Bride. Even if you don't know Michael, you are also invited to attend. This would be a wonderful way to get to know the Yoshiki family and other women of the congregation.
Today is Karim’s last Sunday worship with us before he starts his
exciting and challenging college life in Ottawa! Let’s take a moment to say goodbye and wish him all of God's blessings.

This upcoming Sunday we are celebrating the graduation of Karim Pierre. Let us pray for the Pierre family as Karim prepares to begin college in the fall. In thanksgiving for this joyous occasion, the Pierre family has prepared a cake for our enjoyment immediately after the service.
Our music director Mark Gillogly will be performing at the “Voices of the Nations” concert on August 14 from 12:00-9:00 pm at the Mel Lastman Square (5100 Yonge St). Admission is free. Please see Mark for more details.
Our church has been nominated for the Trillium Garden Awards 2010. A special thank you to Murray & Beverley Lawson, Samuel Jackson and John Briggs for taking such good care of our garden.
