Sermon: I Feel the Earth Move

Have you suffered a horrendous experience in your life that you can never forget? Korah and some of his sons were swallowed up by the earth in an act of rebellion against God. Generations later, they were still serving God. Can human beings with sinful pasts serve God? Yet, the Sons of Korah still sing about God being their "strength and refuge." Discover with Pastor Timothy through a study of Psalm 46 the secret of how the sons of Korah and each of us can still have such faith in the midst of failure.

Sermon: Holy Pots, Bowls and Me

In this final sermon on the book of Zechariah, here the prophet predicts a time when the AntiChrist will appear. But why would anyone be foolish enough to follow this beast? A closer look at Zech. 14:12-21 reveals that those who follow the AntiChrists are not that foreign to us. Come and explore the difference between following the beast and Christ through a careful study of this passage of Scripture.

Sermon: You Are God's Plan A (And There's No Plan B)

Is God a cosmic gambler? Does he really know the future for our individual lives? Or does he just make educated guesses? Why is it important to insist God is perfect? Does God's perfection have ramifications on how we live? In this sermon, Pastor Timothy explores these questions by examining Zech. 14:6-11. Come and be awed again by our perfect God!

Sermon: Wives Submit to Your Husbands?  Don't Tell Me the Bible Doesn't Have an Expiration Date!

"Wives submit to your husbands as to the Lord" Eph. 5:22. It's verse like this that make people say, "Isn't the Bible out of touch with our soceity? Hasn't the Apostle Paul heard of spousal abuse? Or women's rights?" What are we to do with troubling passages like Ephesians 5? In this sermon preached on Father's Day, Pastor Timothy shows us that Ephesians 5 is not only applicable to today's families but it will revolutionize your family. Every word of God is not only relevant, but they are for His Glory and our ultimately for our good.

Sermon: If God is Real why doesn't he make it easier for us to find him?

If God is real, why doesn’t he make easier for us to find him? Why doesn’t he design a neon sign in the sky that says, “I am God. Worship me or perish”? Why doesn’t He just miraculously appear standing on top of the CN Tower? And how does God reveal Himself to us today? Why does He choose to reveal Himself this way? Through a careful exposition of Zechariah 13:7-9, Pastor Timothy tries to answer these questions in this week's sermon.

Sermon: Truth and the City - Updated!

Note: The recording has been corrected as the previous posting was incorrectly done.

In our "me first" culture, we have often placed our own comforts and needs at the pedestal. As a result we tend to only listen to the voices that feed our needs which have become our idols. Yet, the more we pursue them, the more empty we become. Only the voice of God through His Word truly satisfies. Come drink from God's fountain of truth as Pastor Timothy expounds Zechariah 13:1-6.

Sermon: A Life Fishing? Is This God's Answer to Our World's Problems?

This sermon was preached on our "Global Day of Prayer" service where Pastor Timothy uses Exekiel 47:1-12 to challenge us to pray. We pray not because we want to be more religious but because where God is there is an abundance of His goodness. This is represented by Ezekiel's vision of God's overflowing river that comes out of His temple. A river that can even purify the Dead Sea. A river that can cause life to even grow in the midst of death. Prayer is thus to fish in God's River of His graciousness. Come, learn and let's be more audacious through our prayers.

Sermon: Mrs. Palestine, c. 900 BC

It's difficult to be a mother nowadays. Yet, Proverbs 31: 10-31 paints a ridiculous immaculate picture of the perfect mother. What is she like? She’s literally a superwoman, the Mrs. Palestine of the ancient world. She is the touch-up model on a magazine cover. Doesn't God realize that we suffer from spiritual anorexia too? In this sermon, Pastor Timothy shows us that Proverbs 31:10-31 is not a passage that condemns us. Rather, it shows that God and Godliness is what sets us free from the tyranny of our failures. By making the fear of the Lord our partner in life, we will never lack any good thing our Father will give us in His time and wisdom.
