This Sunday was special Missions and Evangelism Sunday sermon with a special guest sermon from Pastor Sydney Taekema. In it, he discusses various evangelism efforts undertaken by Light and Life and Marketplace Ministries.
The scripture reading is from Psalms 105, verses 1 through 7.

This year ABC is holding it's Christmas Eve Candlelight service. Please join us as we usher in the celebration of Jesus' birth. There will be much fellowship, worship and singing in the name of the Lord.

*Lots of Christmas carol singing in candlelight

This week Pastor Tim talks about the history behind the Christmas tree and the sacrifice of one man, Jesus Christ, to really remind us of God's glory.
The scripture reading is from Zachariah, chapter 6, verses 9-15:
During December and early January, there will be a decorated box in the side hall so you can donate your received Christmas cards! The colourful front covers only will be used for a greeting in the Shoe Boxes for Christmas 2010. Let Marilyn Kimberley know you have contributed, and your name will be added as donor to at least one gift box. We especially need colourful, Christian -themed cards! Thank you for contributing to this Mission Outreach.
We will once again be collecting canned goods for our Community these coming 2 weeks. If you can contribute CANNED NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS, please bag them and bring them with you to church on Sundays. Let us do our best to help others celebrate the Season.
